Fall 2013 Prayer Room: November 10-16

Once again, we are here: on the other side of the long, vibrant intensity of summer, stepping into the softer, shorter hours of Fall. This is the season of ripening, of harvest, but with the characteristic insanity of the holidays looming in the distance, it may not feel like a season of rest or enjoyment.

Our 24-7 Greensboro Team is in the midst of preparations for our Fall prayer event. November 10-16, we will open a Sacred Space on the corner of Smith Street and Greene Street in downtown Greensboro: a place to pause and reflect on your personal pilgrimage, and to intercede on behalf of your community. As always, our desire is to see people from all over the city gathering in unity to fill this place with prayer 24 hours a day for the full week. With focused, multi-sensory prayer stations, we hope to facilitate a private space of freedom, restoration and peace for the city of Greensboro.

*You can click on the side-bar or on the calendar below to sign up for an hour of private, personal prayer during the week of this event. You may choose to come alone, or to attend with your community. Know that between the hours of 6 and 10pm every night, the room will be unlocked and open for anyone who wants to pray (no schedule necessary), and will often include live worship music. All other hours, the door will be locked for privacy and security. During those times, when you arrive for your time of prayer, you will be admitted by the person scheduled before you, as you will admit the person who comes into the space after you.
