Prayer as a Family

We the 24-7 prayer team want to encourage families to take time to experience the prayer room together next week. We believe this sacred space is not only a place for adults, but a place for kids to learn about and participate in prayer with their parents. As team member Brandi Lovejoy expresses:
"The prayer room has tangible, hands-on stations that bring the Bible to life and provide solitude and intercession for His followers.  There will be reflective areas as well as more hands-on areas.  We've even added some elements that encourage kids to participate and several of the stations are kid-friendly, with adult supervision. We'd really like to see families as well as individuals participate.  So sign up for an hour or more for yourself and then sign up again with your kids.  This is a great opportunity to disciple your kids and grow in Christ together!!"
In many ways, children bear insight into spirituality that we lack as adults. Christ himself pointed this out to his disciples in the book of Matthew when imploring them to approach the kingdom of God like little children. So please consider bringing your children and participating in prayer together, to learn from each other as you engage in the prayer room.

We look forward to praying alongside each of you next week.
