Homecoming

Sometimes I work downtown, and this past Friday night I witnessed evidence of one of the largest homecomings ever for the students of A&T University. People were literally hugging and celebrating in the streets! In many ways it was a beautiful thing to witness such rare camaraderie. It's my hope we will experience a little of that kind of unity at the next 24-7 prayer week coming up November 11-18.

After a difficult 2 years (for me personally, and I think for Laura, too) we are stepping out again in faith to continue in the work we feel God has called us to: to help facilitate yet another week of non-stop creative prayer in Greensboro.  We pray you will join with us in this journey "home".

We need your time, gifts, talents, and obviously, your prayers~ We need...

musicians willing to play during the nightly "open times", artists to help us come up with ideas and set up the prayer stations in the room, people willing to "oversee" the nightly open times, an old laptop that we can play some music on (yes, there is wifi), various props, lamps, tables, decorations, art supplies, candles (flameless or regular), etc.

We mostly just need you to come pray...and to get some people from your church, or your friend's church, to come pray...we need people who are willing to pray outside of their own 4 walls. (There will be some suggestions for prayer in the room, however,  no one will tell you how to pray...we trust the Holy Spirit to help you with that part.)

Please check the calendar below and click on the link to reserve your time in the prayer room....remember the "best" prayer times are the middle of the night! :)

See you soon...on my way home,
Becky
